Applications for the 2027 academic year close on 31 October 2026. Assessment visits run weekly until then — book yours before the cohort is full.
A day designed for whole-child excellence
Mornings build academic mastery. Afternoons build identity. Both are timetabled, staffed and taken seriously.
Mindfulness
We begin every day in stillness, using the Angels of Light Children's Foundation curriculum to build focus, emotional resilience and inner peace.
Morning Mastery
The Cambridge curriculum delivered through a self-paced, learner-centred model — enquiry-based, project-based and problem-based learning.
Creative School
Music, robotics, agriculture, visual arts and debate. Every learner chooses a discipline and performs, competes or exhibits in it.
Self-paced, scholar-centred
No two minds learn at the same speed, so we do not pretend otherwise. Learners advance on mastery, not on the calendar.

Subjects we currently offer. These are the Cambridge subjects Nguzo Saba teaches and enters candidates for today. Cambridge's full international catalogue is far larger, and we add subjects as we add specialist teachers — if a subject your child needs is not listed, ask us. We will tell you honestly whether we can teach it this year.
Qualifications recognised in over 160 countries
Our learners follow the Cambridge International Curriculum and sit the same Cambridge IGCSE examinations, marked to the same standard, as learners at any Cambridge school in the world.
That is the point. A Cambridge certificate earned in Khayelitsha reads exactly the same to a university admissions officer as one earned anywhere else.
- Cambridge International Curriculum since 2023
- First candidates entered for IGCSE in 2026
- Examination entry fees of R2,000 per subject, shared with families on a performance-linked scale

Where a child finds out who they are

- Ensemble performance and music theory
- Annual concerts and community performances

We cultivate confident, articulate young voices. Through competitive debate and expressive visual arts, learners build the communication skills and aesthetic judgement that distinguish real leaders.
